Starting from the peaceful village of Lloa, runners embark on an epic 52 km journey with 2400 m+ through the domain of the Pichincha volcano. The route dives into the Las Palmas Río Blanco Reserve, climbing the old coalman’s path and passing by the Chirincho waterfall—one of the most iconic corners of Quito Trail.
After returning to the Lloa valley, the challenge continues with the ascent to Cruz Loma before the final descent into Quito’s Historic Center. A demanding and spectacular race, perfect for those seeking a deep connection between nature, mountain, and city.
