12K Humboldt

The Humboldt 12K begins at the Quito Cable Car, over 3,000 meters above sea level, climbing along wide paths and trails until reaching the highest point of the course. From there, the views of the volcano corridor and the city are simply breathtaking.

With 880 meters of positive elevation gain, this route blends effort, speed, and stunning landscapes. The descent follows the Humboldt Trail, a stretch full of nature and energy, leading to the Humboldt Viewpoint before starting the final downhill toward Quito’s Historic Center.

The finish line: the iconic Plaza San Francisco.
